About Us

We can SAVE so many with YOU

Ariane McClure founded Southern Animal Volunteer Effort with a mission: to help as many animals in the south by adoption and education. We want people to know that you do not need to go to a breeder to find what you are looking for, and if you do, there are reputable breeders out there to get an animal.

We help the injured, the sick, the neglected. If an animal is in our care, we work to get them back on their feet. We also help to ensure the animals in our care find their true forever homes. One time at the shelter is enough.
We partner with other groups that share our mission, and work collaboratively. It’s all about the animals for us!

Doing the right thing,
at the right time.

SOME GREAT STORIES HERE!

JAKE

Jake went from the slammer to a golf course view in a matter of time- what a gig! He will now be spoiled rotten! Congrats Jake!

Turner

Well this is a fun one- Turner has been SAVED! Turner has been at Central Bark Doggie Daycare for awhile. The great people there never gave up on him. He has several meet and greets- it was never the right fit. Enter his new mom Jennifer. She fell in love with Turner quirks and all. Look how much he is smiling in his photo! We can’t wait to get updates on this guy!.

Floyd “Money” Mayweather

Floyd “Money” Mayweather has been SAVED! This handsome boy was at the right place at the right time. Princeton, one of the awesome employees of Central Bark Doggie Daycare in Brookhaven saw Floyd as he came in for some play time. He grew up with Boxers, knows their quirky personalities and has been looking for one to rescue! Now Floyd will get to come to work with Dad for some good playtime- just what a young Boxer needs! Thank you to Princeton and RoShaun for waiting and adopting!!
